“Formitus” denotes the source of forming, or formation (in my world of course…I made it up).
Forming what you ask? It depends really. I form thoughts and words. I form websites and pages. I form relationships and businesses. This particular site (http://journey.formitus.com) is where I form the thoughts and words that I have and I eagerly share them with you.
I’ve got a ton of interests and projects that I am working on. This blog that you happened upon is simply a place for me to share my journey. My thoughts, interests, and activities will appear on these pages. Don’t expect much and maybe, by the Grace of God, I will form words and thoughts that are actually coherent.
Who Am I?
My name is James M. Helms. I am many things really, it depends on who you ask. I’m a Christ follower, husband, father, and friend. I’m an entrepreneur at heart and have interests in so many areas that my head sometimes hurts. I’m certainly human, I have many faults. Regardless I’m always trying to improve myself, my life, and my ability to impact the world in a positive way. I’ve fully (I think fully) given up on the ridiculous idea that I can do anything with my own strength alone. I’m seeking to lead a life that honors God and I’m actively seeking the strength from Christ who has already strengthened me.
